Break On Through!

Nice! Another week is complete. I have been very busy. My day job continues to keep me fully engaged. I have added, however, the stress of having my own company. I formed an LLC some time ago and just never had the time to move on it. Now things are starting to take off and I'm learning an awful lot as I go. For example, I incorporated in Nevada to save myself the state corporate tax (there is none there), but now my accountant tells me that I may have inadvertently screwed myself. Apparently, there are a couple of States in the Union that get audited more than others and Nevada is one of them. Crap. I guess that the expense of having an accountant will probably pay off then. Anyway, I won my first contract two weeks ago and am scrambling to ensure that I can do what I said I could. I will, but it has meant late nights and working on it this weekend. I have to say that I'm pretty psyched!

As I've often said, "Success occurs when preparation and opportunity coalesce."

BTW... Jake Commando and Shamrock, if you were at the end of your tours, I'd have work for you. I'll need some medic support in the near future.

Wolf Shirts

Okay, time to fess up. Yes, I have a couple of wolf shirts in my inventory. My wife is seriously disgusted and is only glad that I no longer have a mullet (though it was a fine muthafucka back in the day)! Well, as I no longer have the golden locks, I have still managed to hold onto the wolves. I haven't bought one in a long time... except possibly the one I got last year at Flaming Gorge Harley in Rock Springs, Wyoming... but I digress. Here is an example of a wolf poster I bought in the mid-80s at the Jefferson County Fair.

That being said, I stumbled across what I, IMHO, is possibly the ultimate wolf shirt. Take a moment to read the comments... but go take a piss first.

Good Weekend for Football

Man, a bunch of great games out there. I began the weekend by watching my beloved Iowa Hawkeyes tak on on their arch-nemisis Iowa State. I was pretty bummed at half-time, but Drew Tate worked hard to bring out a win, 27-17 in overtime. Sweet. Take that Psyclones!

I then settled in to watch Michigan battle it out with Notre Dame. I was surprised at the ass-whoopins handed out to the Irish. After taking a water break, I got suckered into the Army v. Texas A&M game (that was on ridiculously late I might add). I made it to the third quarter and fell blissfully asleep (aka - passed out) before I could see the Aggies beat them by four. Bummer (that Army lost).

Somehow made it to church on Sunday and afterward watched the Giants barely beat the Eagles (boo) and the Jets lose to the Pats (hate Pats worse). Then stayed up to watch the Skins get circumcised by the Cowboys.

I'm thinkin' that the Steelers will bring home the bacon tonight.

So in summary (for yours truly), Saturday ROCKED! Sunday sucked! And it is Monday Freakin' Night! (que music).

Sorry

Blogger hasn't let me post in some time. Bastards. Anyway, I'm still alive and kinda pooped after a long week. Maybe I'll rally and post something profound this weekend. Hey... don't laugh... I may actually post something decent. By the by, I'm batchin' it this weekend so there is a better chance that I'll be seriously sauced.

Holiday Weekend

WOO HOO! Man, I'm glad that there is one more day for me to screw around. Last week I felt like I was some penguin's biaotch!
